We provide a range of essential services to people with life-limiting illnesses, including palliative care. Palliative care is a specialized medical care that focuses on providing relief from symptoms, pain, and stress caused by serious illnesses, with the aim of improving the quality of life for patients and their families.

We support and promote palliative care in communities to help those affected by drug abuse and infected with HIV/AIDS, cancer, substance abuse diseases and other incurable diseases.

Fischer Foundation offers a wide range of palliative care services, including the following sub-sectors:
Pain and symptom management: Work with partners to provides medications and therapies to manage the pain and symptoms of patients with life-limiting illnesses. This includes counselling, physical therapy, and other forms of treatment to improve the patient’s quality of life.

Home-based care: offers home-based care services, which involves providing palliative care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This service helps patients to receive care and support from their families and loved ones while still receiving medical attention from trained professionals.

Counselling and emotional support: The organization offers counselling and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers. This helps them to cope with the emotional stress and anxiety that comes with life-limiting illnesses.

Education and training: Fischer Foundation partners with stake holders to provides education and training to healthcare professionals, patients, families, and the community on palliative care and related issues. This helps to improve the quality of care provided and increase awareness of the importance of palliative care.

Advocacy: The organization advocates for the rights of patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. This includes advocating for access to affordable and quality palliative care, as well as other essential services.
